Common questions about giving.
Is my donation tax-deductible?
No. Political contributions to a county Republican committee are not tax-deductible. We're not a 501(c)(3); we're a registered political committee.
Are there contribution limits?
Colorado caps individual contributions to county political committees. Current limits are published by the Colorado Secretary of State, and we'll never accept more than allowed.
Will my name be public?
Donations above the state threshold are reported to the Colorado SOS and become public record (name, address, employer, occupation). Smaller donations are not itemized publicly.
Can I cancel my recurring donation?
Yes, anytime. Email Chairman@BroomfieldRepublicans.org or use the link in your monthly receipt.
Can businesses contribute?
Colorado law restricts contributions from corporations to political committees. Reach out and we'll point you to permissible giving options for businesses and PACs.
Can I give in someone else's name?
No. Contributions in the name of another person are illegal. Every contribution must be made by, and reported under, the actual donor.
