What it is

A front porch for the whole committee.

Email and the newsletter are great for announcements, but they only go one direction. Our Discord is the two-way space, a place to ask a question and get an answer the same day, raise a local issue, sign up for an event, or just get to know the neighbors you stand shoulder to shoulder with. Leadership is in there too, so the people doing the work and the people guiding it are in the same room.

It is a members space, not a public forum. New arrivals start with limited access and unlock the full community once they have read the rules and verified. Leadership channels stay private to leadership and committee.

Inside the community

What you'll find.

Community

Open discussion, local issues, and a place to celebrate wins and shout out the volunteers who show up. The everyday heartbeat of the committee.

Get involved

Volunteer signups, campaign updates, and voter outreach coordination. When there is work to do, this is where it gets organized.

Events

An events channel with RSVPs and reminders, plus voice rooms for meetings, town halls, and the occasional watch party.

How to join

Three steps to get in.

Because this is a members space, invites are sent by leadership rather than posted publicly. Here is the path in:

  1. Be a member. If you are already active with the committee, you are set. New to us? Take a minute to get involved or join the newsletter so we know who you are.
  2. Request your invite. Email leadership using the button below. We will send you a personal invite link to the Discord.
  3. Verify and introduce yourself. Once inside, read the rules, react to verify, and say hello in the introductions channel. That unlocks the full community.
The ground rules

How we keep it a good place to be.

The full rules live in the server, but the spirit is simple. Be respectful; disagreement is welcome, personal attacks are not. Stay on mission and keep it local. No doxxing, no spam, and no self-promotion. If you have a problem with another member, bring it to a committee or leadership member rather than airing it publicly. We are neighbors first.

The community is moderated by volunteer leadership. Access can be limited or removed at leadership's discretion to keep the space safe and on mission.
